Yes, I’m still talking about our Art Ladies trip to the mountains of Tazewell, Virginia a few weekends ago. Nancy, our hostess with the mostest always plans the most fun adventures.
On Saturday evening we strolled down the hill into town for some excellent beach music and – the Cruise In. Dozens of bright, shiny perfect collectible cars proudly on display – all polished up and ready for ohhs and ahhs.
The peach-orange color was a blast from my 50s past and this bad boy made me want to don a long white scarf and goggles to drive off into the sunset.
These beauties just made me drool. Eye candy for the artist’s soul. Color inspiration for who knows what project in my future. Or, maybe I was craving jelly beans and lollipops.
This was my pick of the night, to the music of “Carolina Girl.” Gotta love a screaming hot red truck for hauling junkin’ treasures right?
Well, after the red one won my heart, I bumped into this rusty crusty truck and I changed my mind. Now this is the true me!
Mission accomplished and a good time was had by all!
